chemistryHP White’s chemistry lab performs Penetration and Permeation with 1000’s of chemicals ranging from common gasoline and DEET to Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) like Chlorine, Dimethyl Sulfate, and Ammonia. HP White can also perform HazMat suit tests for human factors or measuring integrity; such as, Man In Simulant Test (MIST) and SF6 Inward Leakage Resistance. Through its well-established network HP White provides testing against chemical warfare agents (CWA), such as VX, GB, and HD.

bioFor microorganism testing, HP White facilities are certified as Biological Safety Level 1 (BSL-1) and Bio Safety Level 2 (BSL-2) as required by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). HP White’s bio lab regularly tests with a broad spectrum of fungi, mold, virus, and bacteria on personal protective equipment, medical garments, storage containers, building products, air filters, respiratory protective equipment, textiles, and more. Testing includes viral resistance, bio-filtration efficiency, blood penetration, and bacterial kill rate. Common challenges include allergens and various fungi, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, and E-coli.
